There are also a number of non exec committee positions which help with the running of the club.
For 2022/2023 we are keen to begin investigating options around access to a new Astro turf pitch. This will involve looking for grants, suitable places with land, partner organisations and more. We would like to form a sub committee to develop this further.
We also have non committee positions available which are more flexible but are still really valuable in keeping the club running. These include:
- Website Officer - to maintain and update the website and share news
- Social Media Officer - helping Leadenham share in our successes and reach out to a wider audience and hopefully attract new players
- Membership Officer - managing the database of members, keeping up to date with GDPR and payments
- Summer League Captains - We are one of the most ambitious clubs in the area for summer leagues - captains are expected to raise a team and lead them to victory (or second place)!
- Summer tournament organisers - Each year we host summer tournaments, help is always appreciated.
- Managers - any help supporting the captains would go a long way. A new role which can be made to fit around you.
- Keyholders - RAF Cranwell only signs the keys out to a certain list of people.
- Coaches - Junior coaches, adult coaches, goalkeeper coachers - anything you can give back to help develop players will be appreciated
- Umpires - Without umpires there would be no league games. Umpires need to go on a course in order to do league matches, but the good news is once you've done that you can start getting paid to umpire!
- Photographers - We had some absolutely fantastic photographs produced last season, well taken photographs make the job of promoting the club so much easier!
