Leadenham's first team is taking on a new challenge in the Midland League system this year. They aim to achieve promotion while integrating some younger, Leadenham-trained players into the first team. Leadenham's team captain and all-time leading club goal scorer, Neil ireland, is confident in his team's ability to advance to a higher standard. The nomination of Sam McCallister as vice-captain will be beneficial, as Sam has modeled his hockey career after his role model, Ross Booth, who is currently an England international.
